Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Let's answer some of those burning questions about life coaching1

General Questions

1. What is life coaching? Life coaching is a professional partnership that helps you identify and achieve personal or professional goals. As your coach, I support you in gaining clarity, overcoming obstacles, and taking actionable steps to move forward in areas like career, relationships, confidence, time management, and overall fulfillment.

2. How is life coaching different from therapy? Therapy often focuses on healing past traumas and mental health issues, while life coaching is future-focused, goal-oriented, and action-driven. I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions; instead, I help you create and pursue a vision for your best life.

3. Who is life coaching for? Coaching is for anyone who wants to create change, reach goals, or improve their quality of life. Whether you're navigating a transition, feeling stuck, or striving for growth, coaching can provide structure, support, and accountability.

What to Expect

4. What can I expect from a life coaching session? Each session involves discussing your goals, identifying challenges, exploring possibilities, and designing action steps. My coaching style is supportive, honest, and focused entirely on helping you succeed.

5. How long is a typical session? Sessions usually last between 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs and the package you choose.

6. How many sessions will I need? That depends on your goals and preferences. Some people gain clarity in just a few sessions, while others find value in ongoing support. During our initial conversation, I’ll help you figure out what works best for you.

Individual Coaching

7. What is individual life coaching? Individual coaching is a one-on-one relationship between you and me. It’s personalized to your unique goals, challenges, and pace, giving you focused, custom support.

8. How is individual coaching conducted? I offer sessions virtually (video or phone), and in some cases in person depending on location. Scheduling is flexible and based on mutual availability.

Group Coaching

9. What is group coaching? Group coaching brings together a small group of people with shared goals or themes. I guide the process while the group dynamic offers peer support, accountability, and shared insight.

10. How is group coaching different from individual coaching? Group coaching is less personalized than one-on-one sessions, but it provides a supportive community and diverse perspectives. It’s a powerful way to grow alongside others who are working toward similar outcomes.

11. How large are the group sessions? Group sizes typically range from 4 to 10 participants to allow for meaningful interaction and connection.
